An environment is the natural surroundings which helps human beings, animals and other living things to grow and develop naturally. But nowadays, our environment is disturbing in many different ways. Any type of disturbance in the nature’s balance affects the environment totally. It does not only ruin human lives but also affects on all living beings. We can save our environment with the little step taken by everyone on the earth. We should reduce the amount of waste, throwing wastes properly to its place only…and many other simple ways. It is very important to save environment for human existence. When we protect the environment, we are protecting ourselves and our future as well.

Nowadays, a variety of environmental problems affect our entire world. As globalization continues and Earth’s natural processes, few societies are being left untouched by major environmental troubles.

First of all, some of the largest problems now affecting to the world, air pollution and hazardous waste. These issues can be avoided with the recycling, for example in order to reduce pollution, we can minimize the energy spends on industrial production. Consequently, the greenhouse emission can be reduced which are harmful for the environment and our health. Furthermore, most of the landfill sides are filled up with a lot of waste products that could have been recycled, especially waste materials that belong to non-biodegradable category which takes a long time to discompose. In this way, recycling enable proper usage of these waste products and saves space for landfill.

Plant more trees. This is easy, you know? Choose an open area/ground near your residence or workplace. Plant a tree every month, encourage your friends and colleagues to join you. Have more and more trees planted and there will come a day when you have a green stretch of land thanks to your effort.

Walk more, drive less. Now that's not very difficult, is it? Choose to walk short distances instead of taking your car every time. Walking to the gym, to work (if it's not very far), go walking to run errands. Or use a bicycle. Both cycling and walking are good exercises. And each time you avoid using your car, you are contributing to reducing air pollution. You are saving fuel, saving money and getting a good workout too.

Until I visited the zoo at Johore Bahru a few months ago, I had no idea how informative a visit to a zoo might be. Though the zoo at Johore Bahru is not big, I found many kinds of interesting animals and other creatures there. Lions, tigers and other animals were moving about lazily in their cages. Some of the animals appeared to be bored, and they took little interest in the visitors. The monkeys, however, showed their natural agility. Whenever they saw a visitor, they ran towards him and begged for something to eat. I was indeed amused at their behavior. Most of them were caught in Malaysia and their variety was amazing.

Some of the birds too were very interesting to see. Their beautiful feathers fascinated me. Birds are indeed one of the loveliest creations of god. A few birds are larger than many animals.

The lions and the tigers in this zoo were so docile that I could not but treat them as domestic animals like the dog and the cat. I went very close to them, but they showed little interest in me. I then began to think of how the animal or even human spirit could be broken by confinement. Confined to their cages, these animals had become spiritless. Even the sight of food did not see to excite them much.

Then, there was the crocodile with its usual pretence of innocence. It refused to be disturbed. Heaven knows how it might have reacted if a child had fallen into its pit. However, my visit to the zoo had increased my knowledge of animals

Một câu ca dao mở ra một bức tranh lao động đầy chất thơ, đồng thời cũng là một lời tỏ tình độc đáo, ý nhị. Câu ca dao đưa ta vào một không gian yên tĩnh, hư ảo của đêm trăng, ánh trăng tỏa chiếu xuống cánh đồng có một cô gái đang tát nước. Âm thanh của từng gầu nước như đẩy không gian thêm cao hơn, rộng hơn. Ánh trăng theo từng gầu nước cũng là múc “ánh trăng vàng”. Ánh trăng theo từng gầu nước lại đổ tràn lên ruộng, vỡ ra, tan ra, lấp loáng. Thời gian đã về khuya lắm. về khuya nên mới chỉ có âm thanh của từng gầu nước và tiếng nói của người con trai hỏi cô gái. Chàng trai hỏi cô trong ngỡ ngàng, tiếc nuối. “Sao cô múc ánh trăng vàng đổ đi?”. Ánh trăng chiếu xuống nước đẹp quá, thể mà cô múc nó đổ đi. Đúng là chỉ có tâm hồn đẹp mới nhìn thấy vẻ đẹp này, thậm chí phải là tâm hồn nghệ sĩ mới có sự tiếc nuối cho cái đẹp kia. Một lời trách bóng gió: cô đang làm mất đi cái đẹp đấy! Nhưng ánh trăng vẫn cứ vô tư tỏa sáng để cô múc từng “gầu trăng”. Cô cũng đang tạo ra cái đẹp! Trách mà lại khen! Cô gái thì im lặng, im lặng vì chàng trai đã khéo gợi nên ở cô cảm xúc về cái đẹp, sự im lặng có thể là sự đồng tình tiếp nhận, và nhiều khi không nói mới là nói được nhiều nhất. Bài ca dao có hai lớp nghĩa. Lớp nghĩa thứ nhất là tả vẻ đẹp của “sen” có “Lá xanh bông trắng, lại chen nhị vàng” đó là tả từ ngoài vào. Còn “Nhị vàng bông trắng lá xanh” là tả từ trong tả ra. Câu thứ tư là “phẩm chất” nghĩa thứ hai cũng toát lên ở đây: Người ta cũng đẹp như sen, dù có sống nơi “hôi tanh”, hãy cố gắng trong sạch tinh khiết như sen. Bài ca dao mượn một hình tượng đẹp đầy thẩm mĩ để nói về nhân cách con người. Người Việt Nam, ai cũng nhớ câu ca dao:

Nhiễu điều phủ lấy giá gương

Người trong một nước phải thương nhau cùng.

“Nhiễu điều” là thứ lụa mỏng nhuộm màu đỏ tươi thường dùng để phủ trên bài vị nơi bàn thờ tổ tiên. “Giá gương” là cái giá có đặt khung lồng kính để bài vị gia tiên. “Nhiễu điều phủ lấy giá gương” là hình ảnh bàn thờ tổ tiên. Đặt trong chỉnh thể của cậu ca dao, ta hiểu lời nhắn nhủ, lời kêu gọi đoàn kết thương yêu nhau ở tất cả mọi người. Đó là một bài ca dao hết sức gợi cảm, tinh tế.

Những bài ca dao ấy là đời sống tâm hồn tình cảm của người Việt Nam. nó là nguồn để nuôi dưỡng văn học bác học. Các nhà văn nhà thơ lớn của chúng ta như Nguyễn Trãi, Nguyễn Du, Hồ Chí Minh, Tố Hữu,... đều chịu ảnh hưởng rất lớn từ tục ngữ, ca dao... lời văn lời thơ của họ đã được nâng lên mức nghệ thuật, tinh tế và tài hoa. Câu thơ của Nguyễn Du mà bao người đã thuộc:

Long lanh đáy nước in trời

Thành xây khói biếc, non phơi bóng vàng.

Có thể nói đây là một bức tranh được vẽ bằng ngôn ngữ của thơ: trời xanh, nước trong, gió rất nhẹ cho nên mới “Long lanh đáy nước in trời”. Phía xa, mây biếc đùn lên như xây thành. Trời đã về chiều nên “non phơi bóng vàng”. Một câu thơ khác sống động, vừa có hình ảnh, màu sắc, âm thanh.

Dưới trăng quyên đã gọi hè

Đầu tường lửa lựu lập lòe đâm bông.

Tiếng Việt rất giàu và rất đẹp đủ sức để diễn tả tài tình các cung bậc tâm trạng. Chúng ta hãy đọc một vài câu thơ trong Chinh phụ ngâm:

       Cùng trông lại mà cùng chẳng thấy

          Thấy xanh xanh những mấy ngàn dâu

Ngàn dâu xanh ngắt một màu

     Lòng chàng ý thiếp ai sầu hơn ai?

Người vợ tiễn người chồng ra trận. Người chồng dứt áo lên ngựa ra đi. Chàng đi một quãng đương rỗi quay lại nhìn vợ. Người vợ vẫn đứng đó trông chồng. Cả hai cùng khóc, họ cùng nhìn nhau mà chẳng thấy nhau vì nước mắt rơi. Giữa họ là khoảng không gian “mấy ngàn dâu” ngăn cách lòng “chàng” cũng sầu, lòng “thiếp” cũng sầu, biết ai hơn ai... Quả là tiếng Việt không giàu, không đẹp thì không thể diễn tả được cung bậc tâm trạng này.

Đến văn học hiện đại chúng ta lại được đọc lời thơ ngọt ngào đằm thắm của nhà thơ Tố Hữu:

Ta về mình có nhớ ta

Mười lăm năm ấy thiết tha mặn nồng...

Ngọt ngào bởi có âm hưởng của ca dao, đằm thắm bởi nó đậm đà tình người, hồn người.

Chúng ta còn rất nhiều những câu văn lời thơ để chứng minh cho tiếng Việt ta giàu đẹp. Tiếng Việt là tình cảm tâm hồn người Việt Nam. Ta ngày thêm yêu tiếng Việt, học tiếng Việt và ra sức giữ gìn sự trong sáng của tiếng ta. Đó là một cách để biểu hiện lòng yêu đất nước, yêu dân tộc mình của người Việt Nam.

Badminton is one kind of exercising that will make people enjoy it. It’s also good for our health. That’s why, I’m taking badminton as one of my hobby.

Badminton is a very easy game, everyone can play it. In fact, you can play it anywhere with rackets and a shuttlecock. The shuttlecock is made from goose feathers pushed into a small piece of cork. Badminton rackets are very light. They normally weigh from 90 grams to about 110 grams. The smash of the shuttlecock can travel up to 260km per hour.

There are six main shots: the serve, the clear, the drop, the smash, the forehand drive and the backhand drive. The court on which badminton is played is in the shape of a rectangle and is divided in half by a net. There are two or four players, each team is on each side of the net.

Badminton takes its name from the home of the Duke of Beaufort, Badminton House in Gloucestershire, England where the first game of badminton was played. 

There are many benefits of playing badminton for our health. It reduces bad cholesterol and increase in good cholesterol and increases the levels of HDL good cholesterol while decreasing the levels of bad cholesterols. When you play badminton, basal heart rate drops a few beats per minute and blood pressure is reduced, which protects you from heart disease. It also can reduce weight for overweigh people and attain optimal weight for their height and age. That’s why it keeps you feeling well, strong, motivated, enthusiastic and young.

I don’t like sports basically, but badminton are special. I have always been enjoying play that. I’d like to continue play this sport as my hobby and have fun.

I was so interested to play football from my childhood however started learning to play well when I was 5 years old. I was in one class when I was 5 years old. My father asked to my class teacher in the PTM about my hobby of football. And my teacher told him that there is a facility of playing sports daily in the school from class 1 so you can admit your child. Now, I really enjoy playing football and participate in the inter-school competitions.

Giờ đây, tôi thật sự thích chơi bóng đá và tham gia vào các cuộc thi liên trường.

My favorite sport is badminton. I like playing it because I think it is a good sport. Every sport will make people feel hot and uncomfortable, but when you play badminton, you will be comfortable because in the badminton court, there are many air-conditioners.

I usually play badminton on Sunday. I always play with my friend, Linh. She is good at badminton. But I am not very good at this sport so when we play badminton, she hits the ball on my both sides. She makes me run and run, and I feel very tired. Sometimes I must jump high to hit the ball to the opposite side.

Although this makes me tired, I still always practise because I will be healthier and fitter than before. Anyway, I think badminton is the best sport.

My favorite sport is playing football. I often play football in my spare time. Aftercompleting my home work at home, I generally spend my lot of free time in playing football. I was so interested to play football from my childhood however started learning to play well when I was 5 years old. I was in one class when I was 5 years old. My father asked to my class teacher in the PTM about my hobby of football. And my teacher told him that there is a facility of playing sports daily in the school from class 1 so you can admit your child. Now, I really enjoy playing football and participate in the inter-school competitions
